March 17, 2025 marked the two year anniversary of the loss of Claude Rivest, a long standing plow operator who worked under both the Emcon and Miller umbrella in his career working in Ear Falls and Ignace yards, who was killed during operations on Highway 17 West of Ignace in 2023.

The Thunder Bay West team with some from Kenora took a few moments to remember Claude in his home yard in Ignace with a small lantern ceremony in his memory. A logo was designed by Upsala staff Jenn and Ryan to honor Claude and these will be placed on all Thunder Bay West units and hard hats.

We miss you, we thank you and until we meet again …. Holy Ever Claude!
