Congratulations Quesnel, for another great Billy Barker Days parade. It was wonderful to see so many groups go to the effort of creating floats this year.
It made doing the lineup very interesting. Just in case you wondered where the horses were, there was a Heritage Horse Show in the Lower Mainland the same weekend.
Thank you to everyone who helped make the parade a success.
The entrants and watchers are very important.
We also need to thank AEL Traffic Control and the RCMP for keeping traffic moving and AUTOW for keeping the parade route free of parked vehicles.
To the volunteers who helped with the line up, we couldn’t do it without you.
Buffalo Bill’s ATV crew directed entries to their spots and individual volunteers helped fine-tune the parking.
Thanks to every one of you, we hope to see all again next year.
