We currently have an opportunity for an enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Project Manager (Division Manager), supporting our Dryden/Kenora, Ontario contract area.

Reporting to the District Manager, this role is responsible for:
- Overseeing Chatham contract area with the Ministry of Transportation Ontario;
- Leading the management team in planning, organizing and directing all aspects of the road and bridge maintenance program within the designated contract areas;
- Managing operations within the annual budget and ensuring costs are tracked accurately;
- Developing commentary for variances from the annual budget (Total Spend/Cash Flow);
- Meeting or exceeding our contractual obligations to the MTO and other regulatory agencies;
- Maintaining a productive and safety conscious workforce;
- Evaluating and developing revenue opportunities;
- Developing staffing and succession plans;
- Other duties as assigned.
The successful candidate must have:
- A thorough understanding of MTO specifications and quality assurance programs;
- Knowledge of financial management best practices;
- Proven interpersonal, leadership and negotiation skills;
- Understanding labour agreements, employment and Health and Safety legislation;
- Excellent communication, organizational and decision-making skills;
- Proficient computer knowledge (MS Office Suite, Accounting Software) and ability to navigate fleet tracking programs;
- Prior experience working within a union environment is an asset;
- Project Management skills would be an asset.
This is a non-union, salaried, management position. Compensation and benefits will be based on the experience of the successful candidate.
